The Bring Arts articulated figures collection from Square Enix, having previously released Bahamut and Odin & Sleipnir, has unveiled its newest Final Fantasy XIV figure: the Azure Dragoon Estinien, currently slated for a November 2018 release.
The non-playable Estinien, having inherited the position of Azure Dragoon, is one of the first dragoons that players encounter in the game. Estinien's ancestors took the Eye of the great wyrm Nidhogg and acquired its great power. His black armor is bathed in dragon blood, strengthening the power within. Having lost both parents to the dragons, Estinien harbors a deep-seeded hatred for the creatures and vows to slay Nidhogg, knowing that the war will forge more orphans like himself if he does not bring it to an end.
Bring Arts Estinien has fashioned his tall, athletic figure and intricate armored design using fine coloring techniques and low-gloss metallic paint for texture and weight, as well as to create the armor’s silver flourishes, razor-edged lines and layered plates. Accessories include the eye of Nidhogg, interchangeable head sculpt and hands, display stand and of course his Gae Bolg spear, with wings that open and close via interchangeable pieces.
