Kotobukiya has announced the new Makise Kurisu Antinomic Dual 1/8 Scale Figure from the popular Science Adventure visual novel Steins;Gate 0! The figure is set to release December 2018.
Makise Kurisu is a child prodigy, studying in America from when she was 11 and graduating university at the age of 18 before becoming a neuroscience researcher at Columbia University. Inquisitive and diligent, she joins the Future Gadget Laboratory as Lab Member No. 004 to work on the newly discovered time machine.
Makise Kurisu Antinomic Dual 1/8 Scale Figure is named for episode 8 of the Steins;Gate 0 anime, depicting a Kurisu who has briefly reunited with a time-hopping Rintaro Okabe. The statue is based on artist Huke's character designs, bringing the character to life with fluttering red hair and unique pupil designs as well as the complex folds in her clothes. The display base is stylized as a computer hard drive enshrined with the series' trademark gears.

Released in October 2009, Steins'Gate is a Science Adventure visual novel video game developed by 5pb. and Nirtoplus. The game is set in Akihabara, Japan, centering around the character of Rintaro Okabe, a self proclaimed mad scientist who often goes by the name Kyouma Hououin, who accidentally invents time travel with his friend Itaru Hashida. Discovering the dark truth behind the timelines, Okabe must now use the time machine to save his friends and all humanity.
